Batman #371 - Don Newton art

Batman #371
Batman v1 #371, 1984 - Breaking into the city's Museum of Natural History, the Catman lays an unorthodox trap for his Caped Crusader nemesis. Most of Don Newton pencils are submerged beneath the domineering inks of Alfredo Alcala. Newton's hand appears in only a few panels toward the beginning and the majority of layouts. His style becomes more recognizable are the story progresses, but not nearly enough. Cover art by Ed Hannigan and Dick Giordano. This is 26 of 32 Batman issues by Newton.
